 Homemade BBQ Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 6 Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider (or any non-alcoholic cider)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro (for garnish)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Basting Brush
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Tongs

Instructions:

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, honey, apple cider, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika to create the BBQ sauce.
  • Coat the chicken breasts with the BBQ sauce, reserving some for basting.
  • Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved sauce until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with your choice of sides.
